2. Information We Collect

Account information — your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase) when you create an account.

Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details. We receive a payment confirmation and subscription status only.

Usage data — the prompts you submit, images you upload, and patterns you generate. We store generated patterns so they are accessible in your Library.

Technical data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Dollar Stitch Club service.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and pattern library.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. receipts, password resets). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • To improve our AI models and pattern quality using anonymised, aggregated data.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — required for authentication and keeping you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings but this will prevent you from logging in.

5. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following trusted third parties who help us operate the service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database (data stored in the EU/US).
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management.
  • AI processing partners — prompts and images are processed by our AI provider to generate patterns. Please review their privacy policies.
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment.
We may also disclose data if required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and pattern library for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and patterns are deleted within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for longer for analytics purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Dollar Stitch Club is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
