Terms of Service

Dollar Stitch Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered cross stitch pattern generation service operated by Dollar Stitch Club (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Dollar Stitch Club. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@dollarstitchclub.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or abusively.

New accounts receive 7 free pattern generations as a one-time welcome gift. These do not roll over and cannot be transferred.

After your free patterns are used, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Pattern allowances reset each month and unused patterns do not carry over.

Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your payment card details. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your nominated payment method.

We offer a full refund within 3 days of your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied. After this period, refunds are granted at our sole discretion. To request a refund, contact hello@dollarstitchclub.com.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes to existing subscribers.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate patterns containing illegal, obscene, hateful, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party (e.g. submitting trademarked logos or copyrighted artworks you do not own).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service to third parties.
• Use automated tools or bots to generate patterns at scale beyond your plan limits.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the Service or other users.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Your prompts and uploads: You retain ownership of any prompts or images you submit. By submitting them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely to provide the Service to you.

Generated patterns — Personal Use (Starter plan): You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use generated patterns for personal cross stitch projects only. You may not sell, distribute, or commercially exploit patterns generated under a Starter subscription.

Generated patterns — Commercial Use (Pro & Extended plans): You receive a non-exclusive commercial licence to sell finished stitched items and/or the PDF patterns themselves, including under your own branding. This licence does not grant you the right to sublicense or resell the underlying AI generation technology.

Our platform: All code, design, branding, and underlying technology of Dollar Stitch Club remains our exclusive intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our platform to you.

Patterns are generated using third-party AI services. We do not guarantee that any generated pattern is wholly original or free from similarity to existing works. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated patterns complies with applicable law.

We make no warranty that prompts will produce any specific result. Pattern quality may vary depending on the complexity of the prompt, chosen size, and Aida count.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dollar Stitch Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Supabase (authentication & database), Lemon Squeezy (payments), and AI image generation APIs. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@dollarstitchclub.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Saved patterns may be deleted after account closure.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms, without refund for any unused subscription period.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
